The researcher conducted a quasi experimental study to evaluate the effectiveness of the structured teaching programme on covid-19 among paramedical students of popular college of nursing and paramedical institute, Varanasi , India. With the study objectives of to assess the knowledge on COVID-19, to associate the demographic variable with the knowledge on COVID-19, to compare the pre- test and post- test values. The study was conducted among 55 randomly selected paramedical students in popular college of nursing, Varanasi India. The levels of knowledge on Covid-19 were collected using a validated tool. After organizing and analyzing the data the study results shows that 43.63% of the samples had inadequate knowledge, 56.36% had moderately adequate knowledge and no sample had adequate knowledge. The researchers evaluated the post test values after a structured teaching programme on COVID-19 which showed that the structured teaching programme had an positive impact in improving the knowledge of the paramedical students about COVID-19 (t-value was -14.07 with a p-value of 0.001 and the result is significant at p<0.5). The study concludes that though the country has been through lot of changes and methods in imparting health educational knowledge on the COVID-19 from the first hit of covid infection in India, still there is a great amount of lag among the people even health care professional students on covid-19. The researchers conducted a quasi experimental; study to evaluate the effectiveness of te structured teaching programme on dengue among the ANM students of Popular Medical Foundation, Varanasi, India with the study objectives to assess the knowledge level on dengue, associate the demographic variable witht the knowledge of dengu and to compare the pre test and post test values. The study was conducted a study among 36 randomly selected ANM students in Popular Institute of Medical Foundation, Varanasi India. The levels of knowledge on Dengue were collected using a validated tool. After organizing and analyzing the data the study shows that 55.5% of the samples had inadequate knowledge, 44.5% had moderately adequate knowledge and no sample had adequate knowledge on dengue. The researchers evaluated the post test values after a structured teaching programme on dengue which showed that the structured teaching programme had an positive impact in improving the knowledge of the ANM students about dengue (t-value was - 15.2401with a p-value of 0.0001 and the result is significant at p<0.5). The study concludes that though the country has been through lot of changes and methods in imparting health educational knowledge on the dengue through the national vector borne disease control programme in India, still there is a great amount of lag in the knowledge level among the people even health care professional students on Dengue.
